Cloned Academy Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ri Michelle Branding Co, doing business as Cloned Academy ("Cloned Academy," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares information about you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your posts or profile to train AI models.
1. What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to the Cloned Academy website, member portal, live classes, community, checkout, and our emails and text messages (together, the "Academy"). It does not cover third-party tools you use on your own, such as AI platforms, social media or Zoom, which have their own privacy policies. By using the Academy, you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Membership.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Purchase and contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing address and order details. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Account and profile: your login email and password (stored in encrypted form), profile photo, bio, business or industry, city, Clone stage, Instagram handle and website.
- Community activity: posts, comments, likes, images and links you share in the portal.
- Messages: what you send us by email, text or support requests, and survey or form responses.
- Live sessions: your name, image, voice, video and chat messages when you join a live class.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, dates and times of access, and similar log data.
- Cookies and local storage: used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the portal and understand how the site is used (see Section 7).
- Email and text engagement: whether messages were delivered, opened or clicked.
Information from others
- Event and purchase records: for example, your ticket details from The Clone Conference, which tell us whether you are entitled to a complimentary membership.
- Service providers: our payment processor, CRM and scheduling tools may share confirmation and account details with us.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account, confirm your membership, and give you access to the portal
- To process payments, renewals and cancellations, and to send receipts and renewal reminders
- To run live classes, the community, the Classroom and member features such as the directory and notifications
- To communicate with you about your membership, sessions, updates and support
- To send marketing about our programs, events and offers, with your consent where required (you can opt out anytime)
- To understand how the Academy is used and to improve it
- To keep the Academy secure, prevent fraud, account sharing and abuse, and enforce our Terms
- To comply with law and respond to legal requests
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described here:
- Service providers that help us run the Academy, under contracts that limit their use of your information to providing services to us. These include website and database hosting, our CRM and email/text platform, payment processing, video conferencing for live classes, and analytics. Some may use AI-powered features to provide their services.
- Other members, as described in Section 5.
- Legal and safety: when we believe in good faith it is required by law, subpoena or court order, or needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Cloned Academy, our members or others.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent, for example if you agree to let us feature your story or results.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use your posts, profile or uploads to train AI models.
5. What Other Members Can See
The portal is private to members, but anything you add to your profile or post in the community can be seen by other members. This includes your name, photo, bio, business, city, Clone stage, social links, posts, comments and likes. Members may also see you in live classes and in class replays. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing with the group. We cannot control what other members do with information you choose to share, although our Terms prohibit sharing members' content outside the Academy.
6. Text Messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your membership, live classes and, with your consent, offers. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Our text-messaging provider processes your number only to send our messages.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure and remember your settings. We may also use analytics tools to understand site traffic, and, on our public marketing pages, advertising tools (such as social media pixels) to measure and improve our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of interest-based ads through your device settings and the ad platforms' own controls. Blocking necessary cookies may stop the portal from working.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for them, we do not currently respond to them. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.
8. Live Session Recordings
Live classes may be recorded through our video conferencing provider, and replays are posted in the Classroom for members. Recordings may include your name, image, voice, video and chat messages if you take part. Your camera and microphone are optional. We will not use a recording in which you appear in public marketing outside the Academy without your permission.
9. How Long We Keep Information
We keep your information for as long as your membership is active and as long as needed afterward to provide the Academy, keep records of purchases, consents and cancellations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our agreements and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it. Posts you leave in the community may remain visible to members unless you delete them or ask us to.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and member-only permissions, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and tell us right away at hello@clonedacademy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
11. Your Choices and Rights
- Profile and posts: you can view and edit your profile, and edit or delete your posts and comments, in the portal at any time.
- Marketing: unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, and reply STOP to any text.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us to give you a copy of, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@clonedacademy.com from your account email.
- State privacy rights: depending on where you live (for example, California and other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to correct or delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. An authorized agent may make a request for you with proof of authorization. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
Deleting your account ends your access to the Academy and does not change the no-refund terms in our Terms of Membership. We may keep certain information when the law requires or allows it, such as purchase records.
12. Children
The Academy is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. International Users
The Academy is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws there may differ from those where you live.
14. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or in the portal before it takes effect, and we will update the effective date above.
